This Week In The Mix with HK

It's been another great week in music. Adele picked up a couple Brit Awards and before leaving flipped the bird M.I.A. Super Bowl style. Speaking of Super Bowl style..Madonna's first release in some time is racing up the charts and her world domination is back in full effect. Chris Brown continues to be at war with the world yet manages to keep Rihanna close at hand and Katy Perry will appear in an upcoming episode of "Raising Hope".

I've got all of them In The Mix with HK this weekend. You'll hear new HK custom mixes on Adele - "Set Fire To The Rain", Melanie Amaro - "Respect", Jessie J - "Domino" and Gavin Degraw - "Not Over You". I've also put the sonic glaze on the new one from Train - "Drive By" and Flo Rida - "Good Feeling".

There's some extra special musical surprises your not gonna want to miss. So kick your party and weekend into overdrive.

This Week In The Mix with HK

The awards have all been handed out, the parties are over and to no one's surprise Adele is the new pop princess. Who thought Lady Gaga would spend all day and night looking at the stage through her fishnet face-mask and not looking at the audience.

The Grammy's take a lot of heat every year for their results and that's to be expected with any award ceremony that has winners and losers. My only complaint with this years show, and remember I'm a Grammy member and voter, was the choice to have Foo FightersChris Brown and Paul McCartney each perform twice at different times in the show. Considering that every star sitting in the audience would kill for the opportunity to perform on the Grammy stage, why have three acts perform when it could have been six. It's a losing situation for everyone. The music stars in attendance, the television audience, the record labels, music buyers, everyone got deprived the right to see more talent on "Musics Biggest Night" as the Grammy's like to promote it.

Well I can assure you it's nothing but big stars, plenty of hits and a non-stop party when your In The Mix with HK. I've been in the lab all week cooking up new mixes on Pitbull/Chris Brown - "International Love", Rihanna - "We Found Love", Selena Gomez - "Love You Like A Love Song" and the new joint from LMFAO - "Sorry For Party Rockin". If that's not enough to warm you up on a cold winter night how about an extended thumping twist on Ellie Goulding - "Lights". Ellie by the way is dating the U.S. dub step king Skrillex. I've also got Andy GrammerOutasight, Gavin DegrawKelly ClarksonBig Time Rush and the hot new Coldplay/Rihanna collaboration "Princess of China".

There's all that and more when you tune in this weekend.

This Week In The Mix with HK

As a voting member of the Grammys and someone who has held a seat on it's board, Sunday is truly music's biggest night. However, this weekend In The Mix with HK is where the biggest party of the week will be.

I've got some of Grammy nights biggest stars and you'll hear their biggest hits like you've never heard them before. Check out my exclusive mixes on Adele - "Set Fire To The Rain", Maroon 5 - "Moves Like Jagger" and Rihanna - "You Da One". I've also got totally new HK remixes on Pitbull - "International Love", David Guetta/Nicki Minaj - "Turn Me On" and LMFAO - "Sorry For Party Rockin". There's even more Grammy sonic seduction with my HK reworkings of Outasight - "Tonight Is The Night", Breathe Carolina - "Blackout" and Jessie J - "Domino".

By the time you hear Big Time RushEllie Goulding and Gym Class Heroes you'll know first hand what it's like to party Grammy style In The Mix with HK.
