There is a good reason why Chris Rock has won
four Emmy Awards, three Grammy Awards, is a New York Times Best-Selling Author
and hosted the Academy Awards twice! This man has wicked skills! He is one of
the sharpest comedians of his generation and in my opinion, one of the best
comics in history.
Now he’s on tour after a nine year hiatus from
the road and seeing him back on stage after all this time makes you feel like
he’s never left and thank God he’s back again doing his thing!
Rock’s social commentary is always spot on.
Combine that with his comic genius and cadence and you’ll leave with your face
hurting from 90 minutes of non-stop laughter. Expect more than just
socio-political commentary on the times. This time around Rock gets personal
and talks about family, divorce and other issues. In doing so he gives us a
glimpse into real world pain while making us laugh. A cathartic experience for
everyone including him.
