The selfie has arguably become the greatest photographic trend of our time. Now #Selfie is also a hit song with bodacious beats and self-obsessed words by The Chainsmokers. When penning the song the duo said - "We really weren't sure if this was the most brilliant idea, or worst idea we ever had”. At #18 and climbing on Billboard’s Hot 100 looks like it was a pretty good idea to me. Amusing lyrics range from “Can you guys help me pick a filter? I don't know if I should go with XX Pro or Valencia. I wanna look tan. What should my caption be? I want it to be clever” to my favorite, “It's not even summer, why does the DJ keep on playing Summertime Sadness?”.
