With the devastating attack at the Ariana Grande concert in Manchester and as Memorial Day nears and we honor our American heroes who have given the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms, my thoughts and prayers go out to all those touched by the unspeakable tragedies of war and acts of senseless terrorism. There are countless freedoms that we cherish and for me music is one of them. The ability to listen to whatever style of music or lyric I desire and to enjoy the thrill of a live performance without fear is something I treasure. Music is freedom, love and humanity delivered with notes, chords, voice, melody, emotion and passion. Music is a thread that should unite us all, it is fearless and it will never be silenced.

CYRUS SISTERS GET MIXED UP ON IN THE MIX WITH HK™

There’s certainly no lack of talent in the Cyrus family. Maybe it was inevitable for Noah Cyrus to follow in her 24 year old sister Miley, 28 year old brother Trace (a member or the pop-rock band Metro Station) and her country artist father, Billy Ray’s footsteps. At just 17, Noah is making noise in the music biz and ready to drop her debut album NC-17 (love the title) this fall. Miley’s next album is also due out later this year. The sisters are close but Noah looks set to step out of her super-star sister’s shadow.
