DAVID GUETTA REVISITS THE 90’S AGAIN AND GETS AN HK REMIX

Fresh on the heels of his hit with Bebe Rexha, David Guetta teams up with Anne-Marie and Coi Leray to cover another 90’s gem. This time around it’s Haddaway’s “What Is Love” that is the inspiration. Expect to see a lot more of this musical formula, as it looks like several artists are following Guetta’s lead and cranking out a bunch more uptempo dance tracks for the summer, all with a 90’s theme.

 

I know I got inspired. So much so, I’ve already got an HK remix Hot in the oven and ready for this weekend. ED SHEERAN GETS AN HK REMIX

If there wasn’t enough reasons already to love Ed Sheeran, seeing him creep up on a NYC subway singer busking to his song “Eyes Closed” will put you over the edge. While in New York City this week, he did just that and broke into an impromptu duet (see photo). When done he gave tickets to the subway performer to come see his show later that night.

LAURA BRYNA’S “JAWBREAKER” - AN HK PICK TO HIT™

Jawbreaker, from singer/songwriter Laura Bryna, has already been streamed over half a  million times. Likewise, it's cinematic, flaming hot “Roadhouse meets Moulin Rogue” music video has accumulated over 1 million views on YouTube. Written by Bryna, Damon Sharpe and Eric Sanicola - “Jawbreaker” is a female empowerment tour-de-force that has you pumping your fist from the very first listen! Grammy Award winner Damon Sharpe (Ariana Grande, Pitbull, J-Lo, Anastacia, Nelly) also produced the track along with the help of Michael Carey (Gwen Stefani, Idina Menzel, Escape The Fate) resulting in a song that Bryna describes as “encapsulating her very essence as an artist”.

 

This week I sit down with Laura to discuss the origin of “Jawbreaker”, her love of whip cream family loss, a top secret Air Force Flight (oops!) and much more. I’ve also got a bevy of new HK remixes on SZA, Miley Cyrus, Coi Leray, Taylor Swift and Halsey’s new banger.
