Where do Shawn Mendes and Camila
Cabello draw inspiration for their songs - apparently from each other.
In talking about their latest hits Shawn said after spending months with
Camilla in Miami he was moved to write Summer Of Love. And Cabello
says her latest hit Don’t Go Yet was inspired by spending her
teenage years crushing on Mendes. They’d often go out as friends, she’d hope it
would turn into more but the night would end with Shawn being like “I got a
performance tomorrow, I gotta go to sleep”. Camilla said in her head she’d be
like “Don’t Go Yet”.
