OLIVIA RODRIGO SAYS "DROP DEAD"

Olivia Rodrigo is stepping into a whole new emotional lane—and you’re going to hear it loud and clear on her upcoming album. While working on her third studio project, You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love, Rodrigo revealed she was experiencing “real romantic love” for the first time, shaping both the tone and storytelling of the record.

Set to drop June 12, the album—including the buzzed-about track Drop Dead—promises a more mature, vulnerable side of the artist. Known for turning heartbreak into anthems, this time Olivia flips the script, channeling the highs, complexities, and authenticity of being truly in love.

If her past hits are any indication, expect raw honesty, major emotion, and songs that hit just as hard—only now, with a different kind of heartbeat behind them.

ED SHEERAN IS BACK!

So get this — Ed Sheeran just dropped his eighth studio album this week (yes, eighth!), and he’s opening up about the early days of his career. Even though he was topping the charts and basically everywhere, he says those first 10 years were non-stop — just work, work, work — and behind the scenes, he was actually really unhappy. It’s wild to think that one of the biggest hitmakers of our time was struggling that hard while living the dream. Fame, huh?

What would you do if told you’re gonna bust your ass for 10 years, but by your early 30’s you will be one of the wealthiest and most famous musicians on the planet? I know what I would say. Yes please! This week on In The Mix With HK™ you will hear the fruits of my labor in the studio. Let’s go!!!
