This Week On In The Mix With HK™: Celebrating Legends & Turning Up The Music!

It’s another BIG week on In The Mix With HK™, and we’ve got a whole lot of music coming your way!

First, we have to take a moment to celebrate the life and legacy of Dolly Parton, who passed away this week at the age of 80. Dolly wasn’t just a music icon — she was a songwriter, entertainer, actress, entrepreneur and, perhaps most importantly, a tremendous humanitarian. From Jolene and 9 to 5 to I Will Always Love You, her music touched generations. And through programs like Dolly’s Imagination Library, she used her success to make an incredible difference in the lives of millions of people.

But knowing Dolly, she’d probably tell us not to spend too much time being sad. Celebrate the music. Celebrate the memories. And keep the party going.

And THAT is exactly what we're doing this week!

We’ve got some seriously hot music lined up, including Olivia Rodrigo, Ariana Grande, Stella Lefty, Dominic Fikeand plenty more. Olivia continues to make noise with her latest music, while Ariana, Stella and Dominic are all bringing their own flavor to the mix.

And then there’s the NEW MUSIC!

We’re checking out the latest from ZueZeu & Jaden Bojsen, Jex, Malcolm Todd, French Montana, Kygo & Max McNown, Meek and MORE!

That’s the thing about In The Mix With HK™ — I’m always digging for what’s NEXT while still bringing you the songs you already love. New hits, future hits, exclusive HK remixes, mashups, throwbacks and a few surprises along the way.

So crank it up, turn it loose and get ready…

Because this week on In The Mix With HK™ — we’re celebrating the legends, discovering what’s next, and keeping the party moving!

Remember...“If it’s hot, if it’s new, and it makes you wanna move...You’re In The Mix With HK™."

FREYA SKYE ISN’T GETTING THE SILENT TREATMENT

This week on In The Mix With HK™, rising star Freya Skye is having a serious moment. She’s still wrapping her head around seeing her name on the Billboard charts alongside artists she grew up listening to — and honestly, it couldn’t happen to a more deserving talent. Between starring in Disney’s Zombies universe and hitting the road supporting her latest EP, she’s proving she’s one to watch in a big way.

I’m also dropping my exclusive HK remix of Silent Treatment, giving the track a whole new energy.

Plus, I’m packing this week’s show with today’s biggest hits from Olivia Dean, Bruno Mars, Sombr, Zara Larsson, and Harry Styles.

And of course, there’s fresh new music from Olivia Rodrigo, Teddy Swims, Charlie XCX, Bebe Rexha, Bella Kay and more — along with re-imagined throwbacks you’ve never heard quite like this before.

OLIVIA RODRIGO SAYS "DROP DEAD"

Olivia Rodrigo is stepping into a whole new emotional lane—and you’re going to hear it loud and clear on her upcoming album. While working on her third studio project, You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love, Rodrigo revealed she was experiencing “real romantic love” for the first time, shaping both the tone and storytelling of the record.

Set to drop June 12, the album—including the buzzed-about track Drop Dead—promises a more mature, vulnerable side of the artist. Known for turning heartbreak into anthems, this time Olivia flips the script, channeling the highs, complexities, and authenticity of being truly in love.

If her past hits are any indication, expect raw honesty, major emotion, and songs that hit just as hard—only now, with a different kind of heartbeat behind them.

Remember...“If it’s hot, if it’s new, and it makes you wanna move...You’re In The Mix With HK™."

DUA LIPA GETS NFL INQUIREY AND HK REMIX

First, there was Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens. Then, Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift. If Patrick Queen has his way, the next celebrity and NFL couple will be PQ and singer Dua Lipa. Seemingly inspired by Kelce shooting his shot with Swift on his podcast and social media, Queen took to X to make his move.

I’m making moves on Dua also. Well, on her music to be exact. I’m bustin’ out an HK EXCLUSIVE REMIX on her latest HIT…Houdini. I’ve also got exclusive HK remixes on new music from the Jonas Brothers, Pitbull, Teddy Swims, Thirty Seconds To Mars, Kenya Grace and MORE. Things are gonna be poppin’ with Jack Harlow, Tate McRae, Olivia Rodrigo, Doechii and others. And this week expect to hear some holiday cheer, cause yeah…I’m in that kinda mood.  It’s all going down right here on Hot 103.9 Saturday at 10pm!

Remember…if it's hot, if it's new and it makes you wanna move…you're In The Mix with HK™.

IN THE MIX WITH HK™ = HOLIDAY STRESS RELIEF

The holiday season is filled with joy and wonder but… it can sometimes be stressful too. And this year, with everything going on in the world and our current political climate, holidays are more complicated on soooo many levels. Don't worry though, cause In The Mix with HK™ is gonna kick that holiday stress to the curb. I mean, we’re here for YOU and the experts have our back. Mayo Clinic says, in their “Tips To Tame Stress”, that “listening to music is a good stress reliever because it provides a mental distraction, reduces muscle tension and decreases stress hormones”. They go as far to say “Crank up the volume and let your mind be absorbed by the music”. Oh yeah …I’m gonna be crankin’ up the volume this weekend with an all-out sonic party jam you just can’t miss!

Look at what I'm putting under the tree for you - Brand new exclusive HK remixes on hits from Kenya Grace, Doja Cat, Olivia Rodrigo, Morgan Wallen, Taylor Swift, Jelly Roll, Teddy Swims, Tate McRae and MORE! I'm also filling my Santa sleigh with merry mashups, classic jams and new beats from Cher, Lany and Jack Harlow. Plus fave chart toppers all mixed in like you’ve never heard them before!

Remember…if it's hot, if it's new and it makes you wanna move…you're In The Mix with HK™.

TAYLOR SWIFT GETS AN HK REMIX

It’s cruel that summer is over. But my remix on “Cruel Summer” is not.  It is however, very addictive.

We have so many T Swift sonic nuggets to choose from right now. The one’s we’ve been jammin’ out to for months, and the new ear candy just dropped. Tune in to hear what I’ve got up my sleeve. I’m also dropping new music from Teddy Swims, Kenya Grace and Olivia Rodrigo. But wait!!! We’re also gonna breathe new life into hits from Tears For Fears, Hozier and others.

Remember…if it's hot, if it's new and it makes you wanna move…you're In The Mix with HK™.

JUNG KOOK AND JACK HARLOW GET THAT “3D” SOUND

Jung Kook continues to crush the global charts! He originally took the world by storm as a member of BTS. Then he went solo with a perfectly choreographed release schedule of singles and collabs. His current HIT single “3D” with Jack Harlow is a catchy ear worm. It is it just me, or does he not sound exactly like a young Justin Timberlake on this track?

And speaking of JT…I”ve got both of his new ones. Back with the boys and Timbaland and Furtado. Plus new jams from Ice Spice & Rema, Morgan Wallen, Tate McRae, and Olivia Rodrigo. It’s gonna be an all out party with non-stop HITS, Throwbacks and New Jams!

Remember…if it's hot, if it's new and it makes you wanna move…you're In The Mix with HK™.

USHER GETS A “GOOD GOOD” HK REMIX

According to the New York times…"Usher’s renaissance has unfolded in a season of anxiety about the viability of R.&B., amid existential threats from hip-hop, pop and Afrobeats. “Coming Home,” his ninth album — slated for release in February, on the same day as the Super Bowl — will be a referendum on the genre’s future as much as it is a statement about how a legacy artist continues to stay relevant.”

Usher certainly has stayed relevant, as they keep adding dates to his Vegas residencey, and come on - SUPER BOWL HALFTIME SHOW. in honor of all of that I’m bringing you a new HK remix on his current collab with Summer Walker and 21 Savage. It’s sooooo “Good Good”. Plus new music from Olivia Rodrigo, Loud Luxury & Two Friends with my girl Bebe Rexha and of course NSYNC. Plus new re-imagined workings on Fall Out Boy, Doja Cat, Paul Russell, Billie Eilish and MORE!

Remember…if it's hot, if it's new and it makes you wanna move…you're In The Mix with HK™.

NSYNC BACK IN THE MIX WITH HK™

NSYNC are back with a jam thanks to the new Trolls movie, which Justin Timberlake also stars in. They also broke the internet when appearing on stage at the VMA’s recently. If that wasn’t enough…Taylor Swift stoked the fires by asking them on live TV “what are they doing, you guys gonna do something”. Now the world wants to know will there be more new music? Will they go on tour? Will they join Usher at Super Bowl? So many questions.

Good thing you don’t have to worry about what you’re listening to this weekend. You know I got you covered with their brand new banger. I’m also bringing new music from Paul Russell, Pitbull, Tate McRae and others to the party. Smokin’ HOT HITS from Olivia Rodrigo, Noah Kahan, Jung Kook and More! All like you’ve never heard them before.

Remember…if it's hot, if it's new and it makes you wanna move…you're In The Mix with HK™.

“ALL MY LIFE” GETS AN HK REMIX

All My Life by Lil Durk and J.Cole gets the HK sonic treatment this week. The two have been riding the charts on this collab and they got to perform it together, for the first time, in Las Vegas last week. Those two aren’t the only HOT artists to get the HK touch. Exclusive remixes this week will also include Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo, Dominic Fike, Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion. New music from Zach Bryan/Kacey Musgraves, Timbaland and Timberlake. JELLY ROLL GETS AN HK REMIX

Jelly Roll has his biggest crossover hit of his career with “Need A Favor", and this week it gets an HK Remix.

Do me a favor and tune in to hear this incredible reworking that still stays true to the original. OLIVIA RODRIGO BACK WITH “VAMPIRE” HK REMIX

OLIVIA RODRIGO said she probably wrote 100 to 150 songs for her new album, explaining she writes many songs and "only a fraction of them are any good." The majority of them, according to her, are "just terrible," and only approximately 20 of them were really recorded; from there, they chose the 12 that are included on the album. Well, if the next 11 are even half as good as “Vampire”, Rodrigo has another smash album on her hands.

This weekend check out my EXCLUSIVE HK REMIX on “Vampire”. Along with non-stop hits from Rema & Selena Gomez, Taylor Swift, Luke Combs, David Guetta, Dominic Fike and The Weeknd. I’ve also got new bangers from Jung Kook, David Kushner, Kylie Minogue and some throwbacks to take your party up a notch. Bam!!!

Remember…if it's hot, if it's new and it makes you wanna move…you're In The Mix with HK™.

DOJA CAT GETS OUR ATTENTION

After a short hiatus and shaving her head like Britney, bitch! Doja Cat is back and she definitely has our “Attention”. The lead single from her forthcoming new album is a slow simmering steamfest. I’ve got my exclusive HK Remix debuting in this week’s show, and as Nelly would say…”It’s getting hot in here”.

Keeping that heat going, like this summer’s temperatures across the country, be on the look out for more new music from Olivia Rodrigo, Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice, and the current jam by Jain blowing up TikTok. Plus HITS HITS HITS!!! All like you’ve never heard them before. I’m talking David Kushner, Post Malone, Rema & Selena, Fifty Fifty, Morgan Wallen and Taylor Swift. And just when you think it’s time to cool down, BAM! I’m gonna hit you with a few sonic surprises.

Remember…if it's hot, if it's new and it makes you wanna move…you're In The Mix with HK™.

HALSEY’S SINGLE IS EXPLOSIVE

Halsey’s latest album If I Can’t Have Love I Want Power has been described as her best work yet. And the first single; I am not a woman I’m a god  is said to be the most explosive song off the album. I’ve got a sick remix of that track ready to explode along with hits from BTS, Camila Cabello, Kane Brown with Blackbear, Elle King & Miranda Lambert, Dixie, Olivia Rodrigo, Doja Cat, Duncan Laurence, Lil Nas X & Jack Harlow. Plus new beats from Shawn Mendes & Tainy, Alesso with Marshmello and James Bay, Wizkid featuring Tems spun together with custom HK remixes. Say What? You want more? No problem…I’ve got throwbacks, insane mashups and sonic surprises that will give your weekend goosebumps!!!! Don’t miss a single beat!

BLACKBEAR WANTS TO COLLAB WITH WHO?

As a singer, songwriter, musician, producer, Matthew Musto, known as blackbear, has many hits and successful collabs. From Machine Gun Kelly’ s single “My Ex’s Best Friend” to All Time Low’s “Monsters” and a little diddy he did with Justin Bieber called “Boyfriend” and “Beautiful Mistakes” with Maroon 5. I know…It’s crazy right! Blackbear has a long list of more artists he wants to collab with but one continues to evade him. Musto says he keeps sending BTS songs and they keep saying no. Still, he remains hopeful that one day he and BTS will collaborate. Stating he’s a huge fan and part of their ARMY.

I know I’m ready for a blackbear /BTS hit. Till that day comes I’ve got a hot remix of “Memory”, blackbear’s latest collab with Kane Brown. Plus exclusive HK remixes on hits from Olivia Rodrigo, Bazzi, Dua Lipa, Ed Sheeran, Marshmello with Jonas Brothers, Doja Cat and The Weeknd, Maroon 5, BTS, Bruno Mars, Tia Verdes, Lil Nas X and Jack Harlow. Plus new jams, fave throwbacks, massive mashups and so much more! Oh yeah!!! It’s goin’ down this weekend.
