Macklemore is back with a preview single from
his upcoming first solo album in nearly 12 years. That’s right it’s a “solo
album” cause he and Ryan Lewis are on a…break. Macklemore says of the
split: “Lewis is my brother forever.
There will be more M&RL music to come when the time is right. Last
November, I built a studio in the basement of my home and got back to basics. I
was able to find a balance with my art, recovery and being a dad. I wanted to
make an album and raise my baby girl.” The first track from Macklemore’s
new album is Glorious, featuring
Skyler Grey. It’s starting to climb the charts and I’m getting ready to climb
all over those beats!
