DAVID GUETTA REVISITS THE 90’S AGAIN AND GETS AN HK REMIX

Fresh on the heels of his hit with Bebe Rexha, David Guetta teams up with Anne-Marie and Coi Leray to cover another 90’s gem. This time around it’s Haddaway’s “What Is Love” that is the inspiration. Expect to see a lot more of this musical formula, as it looks like several artists are following Guetta’s lead and cranking out a bunch more uptempo dance tracks for the summer, all with a 90’s theme.

 

I know I got inspired. So much so, I’ve already got an HK remix Hot in the oven and ready for this weekend. ED SHEERAN GETS AN HK REMIX

If there wasn’t enough reasons already to love Ed Sheeran, seeing him creep up on a NYC subway singer busking to his song “Eyes Closed” will put you over the edge. While in New York City this week, he did just that and broke into an impromptu duet (see photo). When done he gave tickets to the subway performer to come see his show later that night.

WHO IS TATE McRAE?

At 17 Tate McRae has accomplished a lot. When she was just 13 she was the first Canadian finalist on America’s So You Think You Can Dance TV show. Tate also was a dancer preforming on stage with Justin Bieber for his Purpose Tour. It was in 2017 that she swerved from dancing to music and now her song You Broke Me First is starting to make noise on the charts .

ZOE WEES IS IN CONTROL

18 year old German singer-songwriter Zoe Wees has a hit with her very first single Control. Although the deeply emotional track is relatable to anyone who’s ever struggled with feelings of not being in control, Zoe penned the track specifically about her prolonged struggle with rolandic childhood epilepsy. Wees says: “Today I see Control as the best way to leave my past behind and writing this song was the best therapy I could have done to deal with my past.”  “The sickness was stronger than me, and left scars that have become part of my life. Accepting them has taken so much time, but they make me what I am today – a fighter.”

Demi Lovato and Marshmello’s new track OK Not To Be OK  is not just climbing the charts but sending a positive message during these challenging times. The track seeks to remove the stigma around mental health and raise awareness of suicide prevention. In a recent interview Demi talked about managing anxiety, Saying “We can’t stress ourselves with trying to be perfect”. Marshmello shared, “I’ve been using this time to dive head first into music. I’ve written more music now than ever before. I don’t know how good the music is…but there’s a lot of it.”
