THIS WEEK ON IN THE MIX WITH HK™

The volume's going up — and this week on In The Mix With HK™, the playlist is stacked, sealed, and built to hit different.

We're running through the biggest records from Alex Warren, Zara Larsson, Justin Bieber, Olivia Dean, Raye, Bruno Mars, and Harry Styles — woven together the way only HK can. No gaps. No filler. If it's dominating your speakers right now, it belongs In The Mix With HK™.

And exclusive HK remixes? Yeah, those are locked and loaded too. Bigger drops, fresher energy, and that signature polish you keep coming back for — crafted from scratch and not catching air anywhere else. That's just facts.

This week's new music spotlight lands on PinkPantheress, Bebe Rexha, Alice Deejay — plus a few names we're keeping close until the moment is right. The surprises don't stop there.

Oh, and the throwback flips are back. The ones that catch you completely off guard, make you stop mid-scroll, and have you turning it all the way up before you even realize what hit you. Those.

The formula's simple: energy that doesn't quit, records you already love, and just enough unpredictability to keep things interesting. Familiar enough to feel like home. Bold enough to feel brand new. That's the show — every week, no exceptions.

Remember...“If it’s hot, if it’s new, and it makes you wanna move...You’re In The Mix With HK™."

ZARA LARSSON IS ON FIRE

Sweden’s global pop powerhouse Zara Larsson absolutely owned Minneapolis. From the moment she hit the stage at the sold-out Fillmore, it was nonstop energy—hit after hit, flawless vocals, and a crowd that was all the way in from the first note to the last.

I’ve been riding with Zara for a minute now—breaking “Midnight Sun” early on my show—and seeing it come to life like that, with fans knowing every word, is exactly why we do this. Full-circle moment.

This wasn’t just a concert—it was a vibe. Positive energy, electric crowd, and a reminder of how powerful a pop show can be when the artist truly connects.

Tap in with me this week on In The Mix With HK™—I’ll be spinning my exclusive remix of “Midnight Sun,” plus her brand new collab with PinkPantheress.

And if you missed the moment (or just want to relive it), check out my exclusive video right here.

MAX MCNOWN - BETTER ME FOR YOU

Max McNown may still be an emerging name for some listeners, but the numbers — and the buzz — say he’s very much an artist on the rise. With a steady climb in streaming and growing attention across the charts, the young singer-songwriter is quickly carving out a lane of his own.

What makes Max stand out is the sound. His music blends pop, R&B, country, and alternative influences in a way that feels both polished and personal. It’s the kind of genre-blurring style that today’s listeners connect with instantly — melodic, emotional, and built for repeat listens.

That connection is clearly translating. Fans are discovering his music in big numbers across streaming platforms, while his growing presence on the Billboard charts signals that the industry is starting to take notice as well. For a developing artist, that combination of organic fan growth and chart momentum is a powerful sign that something special is happening.

One track that’s really helping drive that momentum is his current single “Better Me For You.” The song captures the vulnerability and honesty that defines Max’s writing — heartfelt lyrics layered over a modern, atmospheric production that feels equally at home in pop and alternative playlists.

Of course, you know I had to put my own spin on it.

I’ve created an HK Vibe remix of “Better Me For You,” giving the track a fresh rhythmic energy while keeping the emotion that makes the song connect so strongly. It’s a version designed for the dancefloor, the mix show, and everywhere in between.

If you’re discovering Max McNown for the first time, this is a great place to start. And if you’re already a fan, check out the HK Vibe and hear the song from a whole new angle.

Because when a great song meets the right vibe… that’s where the magic happens.

ELLA LANGLEY MAKES HISTORY WITH "CHOOSIN' TEXAS”

Ella Langley has officially cemented her status as country music’s newest titan. Her hit single "Choosin' Texas" recently achieved a historic "triple crown," making her the first woman to simultaneously top the Billboard Hot 100, Hot Country Songs, and Country Airplay charts.

The track—a bittersweet heartbreak anthem co-written with Miranda Lambert—is a certified streaming powerhouse. During its peak week, it amassed over 22 million U.S. streams and 34 million radio impressions, fueled by a viral surge and massive digital sales.

Only three other artists (Shaboozey, Post Malone, and Morgan Wallen) have ever held all three top spots at once.

The song’s rapid climb to No. 1 on the Country Airplay chart, and continued rise on Top 40 airplay, proves its massive appeal beyond just TikTok and streaming playlists.

This success sets a massive stage for her upcoming second album, “Dandelion", arriving April 10, 2026. With a Platinum certification already under her belt it looks like Ella didn’t just choose Texas. She’s choosing the world stage. Tune in this week to hear my EXCLUSIVE HK REMIX and all your other faves!

WHEN GRAMMY GIANTS COLLIDE: HK REIMAGINES RICKY KEJ’S “COMPASSION”

Something incredible happens when world-class cinematic beauty meets high-octane club energy.

We a thrilled to announce a powerhouse collaboration that is set to shake up both the airwaves and the dance floor. Howard “HK” Kessler—the Gold & Platinum producer and Grammy-nominated mastermind behind In The Mix With HK™—has just unveiled the official remix for 3-time Grammy winner Ricky Kej’s latest track, “Compassion.”

A Historic First

While Ricky Kej is a global icon known for his lush, environmentally-conscious soundscapes, this release marks a major milestone: it is the first time Kej has ever had an official remix released commercially.

HK has taken Kej’s signature global sound and infused it with his legendary peak-hour energy. The result? A vibrant anthem that maintains the soul of the original while transforming it into a high-energy experience perfect for a packed club or a workout playlist.

More Than Just a Beat

For HK, this project was about more than just making a "club banger." It was about timing and a message that hits close to home. “Ricky’s music is breathtaking, and I wanted to take that beauty and give it a whole new pulse,” HK shared. “This remix is about connecting worlds... It was also important to me to amplify the message of compassion in the wake of the tragedies happening here in Minneapolis.” In a world that often feels divided, "Compassion" serves as a sonic bridge—connecting the world music stage to the dance floor, and connecting listeners through a shared message of unity.

About the Artists

 * Ricky Kej: A 3-time Grammy Award winner and environmentalist, Ricky’s music has reached millions across 30 countries. He is world-renowned for using his platform to advocate for sustainability and peace.

BRUNO MARS... GRAMMY NOMS, NEW MUSIC, NEW TOUR

One of my favorite artists of all time is slaying it only the way he can. Bruno Mars is riding a wave like no other. He’s up for several Grammys for music created last year, but why rest on your laurels. Nah, not him. He just dropped a new single entiltled “I Just Might”, and he’ll be hitting the road in support of his first new solo album in 10 years. A 71 date stadium tour!

I just might drop an exclusive remix this weekend. Tune in to hear it, along with my exclusive remixes on all your favorites from Raye, Sombr, Taylor Swift, Myles Smith, Katseye, Huntrix and MORE.

DAVID GUETTA STILL RUNNING THE GAME

French legend David Guetta is living proof that longevity and relevance can absolutely go hand in hand. Decade after decade, he’s still delivering jam after jam—whether it’s massive club bangers, hands-in-the-air festival anthems, or crossover hits that dominate mainstream radio. Guetta doesn’t chase trends—he helps set them, and that’s why his sound continues to hit just as hard today as it ever has.

Right now, his collab Gone Gone Gone – a collab with Teddy Swims and Tones And I, is in heavy rotation, spinning on mainstream playlists and keeping dancefloors lit coast to coast. It’s that perfect blend of energy, melody, and modern production that Guetta does better than almost anyone. From packed clubs to massive festival stages, the vibe is undeniable—David Guetta is still running the game, and the party isn’t slowing down anytime soon.
