The aspirational hit song High Hopes has
climbed to #5 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The tracks
strong triumph over adversity lyrics, “Had to have high, high hopes for a
living. Shooting for the stars when I couldn’t make a killing. Didn’t have a
dime but I always had a vision.”, are resonating with diehard and new Panic!
At The Disco fans. Frontman Brendon Urie explained
the meaning behind the song and what inspired the lyrics in a tweet saying – “I
spent too long not setting my expectations high enough, worried about how it
felt to fail. I hit a point when I realized I had to aim high and fail, fail,
fail in order to keep growing.” Congrats go out to Urie on Panic!’s success and
his smash hit.
