LADY GAGA CREATES MAYHEM

Lady Gaga's Mayhem, released on March 7, 2025, marks a return to her pop roots while showcasing her growth as an artist. The album blends catchy melodies with deeper, personal lyrics, and reflects her love for music.

 

Collaborating with producers like Andrew Watt, Cirkut, and DJ Gesaffelstein, Gaga crafted Mayhem at Rick Rubin’s Shangri-La studio. The process was close to her heart, exploring a mix of genres. The album's lead single, "Disease," dropped in October 2024, setting the tone with themes of fame and identity. Songs like "Perfect Celebrity" critique celebrity culture, and "Die with a Smile," a duet with Bruno Mars, nods to 70s pop. One of the album's key moments was Gaga’s initial hesitation about the synth-heavy track "How Bad Do U Want Me." Her fiancé, Michael Polansky, encouraged her to keep it, knowing it would resonate with fans.

 

Mayhem has been praised for its bold sound and Gaga's fearless approach. Critics see it as one of her strongest works, balancing depth with mass appeal. Gaga’s also hinted at writing a Broadway musical, showing her constant drive to push creative boundaries. With Mayhem, Lady Gaga solidifies her place as a pop icon, delivering both a personal and forward-thinking album.

GABBY BARRETT & CHARLIE PUTH HAVE HOPE

Gabby Barrett may have come in third on American Idol in 2018 but she is winning with her new track I Hope. The song was already a huge country music hit when Charlie Puth posted on Insta how much he liked the track and the two teamed up for a new version. Gabby explains “When I wrote it I was writing from a woman’s perspective, and so with him being on it, it kind of shows the men’s perspective too. That both sides get cheated on and it’s not  just a one-sided thing.” Puth says “I fell in love with the song when I first heard it, and to be able to reimagine it with Gabby and the writers and producers and take it to a new place, is really exciting.”

TWENTY ONE PILOTS HAVE A "LEVEL OF CONCERN"

Twenty One Pilots wrote and dropped a new track in this COVID-19 era of self-isolation. The song, Level Of Concern, is definitely influenced by the pandemic with lyrics like “Would you be my little Quarantine”. Of the single, Tyler tweeted; ”Always writing, but this one feels like it should just come out now. I think it’s simple but hopeful.” With intentions of spreading hope Tyler and Josh are donating a portion of the proceeds to Crew Nation a charity that supports laid off live music crews.

She says the catchy, energetic tune is indicative of her new album’s vibe. Her new set entitled Chromatica will be out on April 10^th. Gaga says the goal of this follow up to 2016’s Joanne  is; “to put out music that a big chunk of the world will hear, and it will become a part of their daily lives and make them happy every single day”.

After a kidney transplant in 2017 and spending a few months in a treatment center back in October Selena Gomez appears to be lovin’ life, saying she is “super, super happy”. SO WHO IS BENNY BLANCO?

Benny Blanco’s been ridiculously successful as a producer, writer and multi-instrumentalist for years. He’s crafted a crazy amount of hit tracks including Ed Sheeran – Castle On The Hill, Justin Beiber - Love Yourself, Maroon 5 – Moves Like Jagger, Julia Michaels – Issues, Major Lazer – Cold Water, Katy Perry- California Gurls, Rihanna – Diamonds, Kesha – Tick Tok and more. Now for the first time under his own name Benny Blanco has a top 10 hit with his new single; Eastside featuring Khalid and Halsey. Although Blanco doesn’t like being in the spotlight he started thinking about becoming a solo artist to have more creative control. Benny told Rolling Stone… I remember asking all my friends and peers: “Hey, should I do this? Kind of hoping they’d be like, Dude, shut the **** up and just do what you’re supposed to do and produce the songs!” But every single person was like, “Oh my God, I can’t believe you haven’t done it yet!”
