SILK SONIC GETS AN HK REMIX & A VEGAS RESIDENCY

Pop Acts continue to light up the Vegas Strip with new residencies, while omicron and covid - 19 still delay a return to normal elsewhere. Just a day after the Grammy Awards announced their move to Vegas for 2022, Bruno Mars and Anderson Paak (known as Silk Sonic) announced they are moving into Sin City.

 

The duo will launch a residency beginning on Feb. 25 at Dolby Live as part of “An Evening With Silk Sonic” — and look at that, the run concludes the night before the Grammys, which makes it seem likely the group will at the very least attend the show, where they’re up for Record of the Year and Best R&B Performance.

BRUNO MARS & ANDERSON PAAK’S “SKATE” GETS A SUPER SONIC HK REMIX

Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak revealed that their debut album An Evening With Silk Sonic will drop in early 2022. But we may not have to wait that long for their new smooth beats. Mars said the duo would like to release more tracks as singles to let each be properly appreciated. Stating “I don’t want to be binge-watched”. The Grammys may be over but for the artists that performed and/or won it’s the gift that keeps on giving! Harry Styles who performed and won for Watermelon Sugar got a 94% bump in sales since the big night. Also Billie Eilish, who took Best Record  for everything I wanted, saw an increase of 812%. But none as high as Mickey Guyton whose sales of her country song Black Like Me jumped by more than 13,000%. I’ve got custom HK remixes on hits by Billie and Harry ready to spin in this week’s show.
