SUPER BOWL WEEKEND & SUPER MUSIC ON IN THE MIX With HK™

We all love the BIG GAME, but don’t underestimate the entertainment for heating up the field! Kicking things off with the National Anthem are R&B singer Jazmine Sullivan and country singer Eric Church. Then The Weeknd plans on scoring big with his halftime show. The singer put $7 million of his own money into this year’s performance. His manager says the Weeknd fronted the money to make this halftime show be what he envisioned. With the highly anticipated musical performances, commercials you actually might want to watch, fun food and oh yeah…the championship football game of the year too, you gotta love Super Bowl Sunday!

I’ll give you another reason to love Super Bowl weekend. I’ve got possession of the perfect winning soundtrack. It’s gonna be a party blitz with exclusive HK remixes on hits from Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus, Nelly with Florida Georgia Line, Justin Bieber, Dua Lipa and of course The Weeknd. Also on the roster are new beats from Ava Max, Clean Bandit with iann dior, Jason Derulo and Adam Levine. Plus I’ll be punting in mashups, scoring throwbacks and putting this party into overtime! You never know how the big game will turn out but I know we’re gonna be turnin’ it out this weekend.

Remember…if it's hot, if it's new and it makes you wanna move…you're In The Mix with HK™.

HAILEE STEINFELD LOVES HERSELF AND WE LOVE HER!

Hailee Steinfeld is a proven actress with an Oscar nomination under her belt for her teen role in True Grit. She has several other movies coming out this year and nailed her vocals in Pitch Perfect 2, but what has my attention is her first original single Love Myself. Steinfeld said of her music career vs acting: ”Music is the most moving art form. It moves in such a personal way. There’s something about the control you have --- I love it”. Her new debut single has been described as a self –empowerment song that is a cross between Gloria Gaynor’s I Will Survive and Divinyls’ I Touch Myself. Hailee says “the song is about taking care of yourself, weather that means physically, emotionally or with material things. There’s a power in being able to provide for yourself. Being able to say, I love myself”. And I LOVE her track which apparently puts me with the masses as it is climbing up the charts! Look for her EP to drop later this year and check out her killer music video below.

This weekend I've got killer exclusive remixes you can only hear on IN THE MIX WITH HK™. So tune in and turn it up when I reinvent tracks from R.City/Adam Levine, Audien feat. Lady Antebellum, Justin Bieber, Shawn Mendes, Demi Lovato and more! Plus my re-imagined takes on Nick Jonas, The Weeknd and Jess Glynne. I'm also featuring new music from Andy Grammer, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Elle King and others.
