CHRIS ROCK TOTAL BLACKOUT TOUR 2017

There is a good reason why Chris Rock has won four Emmy Awards, three Grammy Awards, is a New York Times Best-Selling Author and hosted the Academy Awards twice! This man has wicked skills! He is one of the sharpest comedians of his generation and in my opinion, one of the best comics in history.

Now he’s on tour after a nine year hiatus from the road and seeing him back on stage after all this time makes you feel like he’s never left and thank God he’s back again doing his thing!

Rock’s social commentary is always spot on. Combine that with his comic genius and cadence and you’ll leave with your face hurting from 90 minutes of non-stop laughter. Expect more than just socio-political commentary on the times. This time around Rock gets personal and talks about family, divorce and other issues. In doing so he gives us a glimpse into real world pain while making us laugh. A cathartic experience for everyone including him.

Be sure to catch the Total Blackout Tour coming to a city near you!

ONE FOR THE RECORD BOOKS

Some interesting things happened this week in the music biz that should not be understated and probably would make your head spin. The Chainsmokers have three different singles in the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. There are only two other groups to manage this rare feat. The Beatles were the first back in 1964. A decade later the Bee Gees did it with a trio of hits from their Saturday Night Fever soundtrack. And now the smokin’ hot EDM pop producers have joined the club. Think about that for a second. The Chainsmokers are now in the same league with The Beatles and The Bee Gees. But wait! There's more! Nicki Minaj tied Aretha Franklin's record for 73 songs to land in the Hot 100. That surpasses legends like Beyoncé, Madonna, Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Mariah Carey, Barbara Streisand and others. Mind blowing right?

I'm hoping to blow your mind this weekend on In The Mix with HK™. I got your clubbing soundtrack all locked and loaded to turn any car, living room, basement or backyard into your personal party palace. I’m droppin’ the needle on exclusive HK remixes on Ed Sheeran, Rihanna, Maroon 5, Ariana Grande, Clean Bandit, Zayn/Taylor Swift, Shawn Mendes and of course the Chainsmokers! Plus new beats from PartyNextDoor, Lorde, Marian Hill and so much more! Dance, hydrate and repeat is our mantra!

Remember…if it's hot, if it's new and it makes you wanna move…you're In The Mix with HK™.

More exclusive HK remixes and More surprises! Oh yeah…The Weeknd can Feel It Coming, Katy Perry will have us Chained To The Rhythm, Fitz & The Tantrums are providing the HandClap, Zara Larsson is So Good and Bruno knows That’s What I Like. LOTS OF HITS, NEW MUSIC, REMIXES AND LAUGHS ON IN THE MIX WITH HK™

Man! There is a ton of great new music I just gotta play and mess with. I’m in the lab cooking up custom HK remixes on new jams from Maroon 5 featuring Future, Linkin Park & Kiiara, AJR, Major Lazer, Kygo & Selena Gomez and of course Ms. Perry! Plus major chart toppers from Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran, The Weeknd, Clean Bandit, Zayn & Taylor Swift and Rihanna all getting a little HK flava.

Then to really spice things up Lisa Lampanelli (The Queen of Mean) is droppin’ in to talk about her national comedy tour and what it was really like to work with the now President Donald Trump on Celebrity Apprentice. I know what you're thinking….did he grab her p***y? We're gonna find that out and a whole lot more!

CONGRATULATIONS TO GRAMMY WINNING FRIENDS OF IN THE MIX WITH HK™

Congratulations go out to all the 2017 Grammy winners! Especially to Twenty One Pilots, The Chainsmokers, Daya and Flume.  All who took some time out of their hectic schedule to hang in the mix with yours truly and talk with us while on their journey to Grammy success! Here are a few highlights from my EXCLUSIVE interviews with music royalty: Flume describes his Grammy winning album, Skin, as melodic and a little off. Flume says he makes music he wants to hear and that his biggest inspiration isn’t other people’s music but technology and using it in a way that hasn’t been used before. Tyler of Twenty One Pilots told us his favorite track from their #1 selling album Blurryface is Lane Boy  and Josh likes The Judge. But their fave may have changed since Stressed Out is the track that gave TØP their first Grammy. The Chainsmokers talked with us about the evolution of dance music and how they love where it’s going. Daya is totally blown away with the turn her life has taken saying her parents have given her total support and are now involved in her music career. You can catch my full backstage conversations with these now Grammy winning artists under the Interview Tab.

This weekend I’m bringing you a party soundtrack filled with tons of musical royalty. I’m droppin’ the needle on exclusive HK remixes of Maroon 5, Ed Sheeran, Rihanna, Shawn Mendes, Bruno Mars and Grammy wining Daya. Plus new tracks from Katy (thank God she finally released a new song) Perry, Starley, Hey Violet, Marian Hill and Zara Larsson! I just can’t help but rework a Daft Punk classic and mix up a few other surprises from the day! Weather you get Presidents Day off or (like me) NOT we’re still gonna party like it’s a three day weekend!

Remember…if it's hot, if it's new and it makes you wanna move…you're In The Mix with HK^™
