It may seem like P!nk has been off radar for a while, but that doesn't mean she hasn't been getting busy. P!nk and husband Carey Hart welcomed their second child, a baby boy into the world the end of last year. This Sunday the VMA’s will bestow her with its highest honor:The Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. With 15 Top Ten hits in the Hot 100 as a lead artist, impact on music and philanthropy plus her unparalleled acrobatics and evocative live performances - it’s well deserved. In addition, P!nk will be releasing her much anticipated seventh LP (the first since 2012’s The Truth About Love) entitled Beautiful Trauma on October 13^th. And the first single, What About Us is making its way up the charts!

This weekend I’ll be making my way all around P!nk's new track plus banging out exclusive HK remixes on hits from Hey Violet, Shawn Mendes, Imagine Dragons, Charlie Puth, Selena Gomez, Ed Sheeran and so much more! I’ve got new beats on tap from Axwell & Ingrosso, Halsey, Fall Out Boy and a couple mash ups you just can’t miss!

CONGRATULATIONS TO GRAMMY WINNING FRIENDS OF IN THE MIX WITH HK™

Congratulations go out to all the 2017 Grammy winners! Especially to Twenty One Pilots, The Chainsmokers, Daya and Flume.  All who took some time out of their hectic schedule to hang in the mix with yours truly and talk with us while on their journey to Grammy success! Here are a few highlights from my EXCLUSIVE interviews with music royalty: Flume describes his Grammy winning album, Skin, as melodic and a little off. Flume says he makes music he wants to hear and that his biggest inspiration isn’t other people’s music but technology and using it in a way that hasn’t been used before. Tyler of Twenty One Pilots told us his favorite track from their #1 selling album Blurryface is Lane Boy  and Josh likes The Judge. But their fave may have changed since Stressed Out is the track that gave TØP their first Grammy. The Chainsmokers talked with us about the evolution of dance music and how they love where it’s going. Daya is totally blown away with the turn her life has taken saying her parents have given her total support and are now involved in her music career. This weekend I’m bringing you a party soundtrack filled with tons of musical royalty. I’m droppin’ the needle on exclusive HK remixes of Maroon 5, Ed Sheeran, Rihanna, Shawn Mendes, Bruno Mars and Grammy wining Daya. Plus new tracks from Katy (thank God she finally released a new song) Perry, Starley, Hey Violet, Marian Hill and Zara Larsson! I just can’t help but rework a Daft Punk classic and mix up a few other surprises from the day! HEY VIOLET AND MORE THIS WEEK ON IN THE MIX WITH HK™

The LA based group Hey Violet began as the 4 girl hard rock band Cherri Bomb while its members were still in middle school. Since its inception the group has had a change of musical direction to punk-pop, the parting of a member, addition of guitarist and a bassist and is no longer an all-female band. They’ve  signed to 5 Seconds of Summer’s Label Hi Or Hey Records and have a new single Guys My Age making noise on the Pop charts!

This weekend I can’t help but make some noise with a custom HK remix on Hey Violet’s latest track Guys My Age plus the new hits from Charli XCX, G-Eazy, Clean Bandit & Anne-Marie! Also coming to this mix party are fresh beats from Zayn feat. Ms. Swift, Rihanna, Bruno Mars, Ariana Grande, Maroon 5, The Weeknd, Shawn Mendes, Hailee Steinfeld and SO MUCH MORE! The bass is gettin’ low and the volume’s goin’ up!
