Brothers Adam, Jack and Ryan (AJR) are back In The Mix with an HK remix. The group is seeing early buzz on “Yes, I’m A Mess”. They’re also headlining their first ever arena tour, and in the middle of writing music for a new Broadway Show based on the classic children’s book…Harold and the Purple Crayon. Seeing as how AJR has made a career out of recording musical theater influenced albums, the collaboration seemed like a perfect fit.

 

Another perfect fit is all the music I’m working on for this week’s In The Mix With HK™. It’s the first show of the New Year and we’re kicking things off right. Already a HUGE hit on digital platforms, David Guetta & Bebe Rexha’s “I’m Good (Blue)” continues to gain meaningful traction at pop radio. It took no time at all for the banger to go #1 on the iTunes Dance Chart and Top 10 on U.S. song chart. My boys AJR have lent a hand and a vocal chord or two to alternative/Indie group Daisy the Great. Their collab “Record Player” was built on an old hook from Daisy The Great’s song from 2017. It’s crushing on the Alternative charts, and like everything AJR does, it has found a home on the pop charts as well.
