The Weeknd and Ariana Grande are crying tears of joy as the latest remix of Save Your Tears jumped to the #1 song in the country this week. Making that the sixth #1 single for both artists. All of which is crazy impressive. Even more amazing is that the track now brings pop mastermind Max Martin’s (who co-wrote the song) #1 count to a whopping 24!

SAVE YOUR TEARS FOR THE WEEKEND

The Weeknd dropped his new Save Your Tears music video this week. And fans are already speculating that the video is shading the Grammys for not giving him any nominations this year, despite the incredible success of his After Hours album. During the video The Weeknd sings “I broke your heart like someone did mine / And now you won’t love me for a second time” then he throws a gold trophy away. As of yet the singer has not confirmed any of the video theories.

 

One thing I can confirm is I’m spinning some sick mashups this weekend including The Weeknd’s new groove. TREVOR DANIELS "FALLING" INTO SUCCESS

Trevor Daniels has a huge hit with his track Falling. The 25 year old Houston native says the inspiration for the song came from a broken high school romance. After which Daniels was really torn up and nearly led him to swear off relationships for good. But that only lasted 2 weeks when Trevor says he then met a super cute girl in driving class. Ahh..high school romances make for great lyrics.
