No matter how complicated, crazy or even scary our world gets, it always seems uplifting to count blessings big and small. So besides you…our listeners, family, friends and good health, I’m thankful for Thanksgiving. Let’s face it, 2020 has been a very difficult and painful year for many of us. That’s why this year, more than ever, Thanksgiving is a wonderful reminder to celebrate and be grateful for all we have. Plus throw in my favorite comfort foods, guilt free nonstop eating, no gift giving and football and the whole day goes up a notch.

JASON DERULO BACK ON TOP AFTER A DECADE

Jason Derulo has the #1 song in the country with a little help from BTS. Savage Love (Laxed – Siern Beat), Derulo’s hit collab with Jawsh 685’s been hanging out on the charts for several months. Now it got a little remix love from BTS and it blasted to the top. This marks Jason’s second #1 hit. His first came almost 12 years ago with the debut single Whatcha Say, which, I seriously need to dust off and mess with.

18 year old German singer-songwriter Zoe Wees has a hit with her very first single Control. Although the deeply emotional track is relatable to anyone who’s ever struggled with feelings of not being in control, Zoe penned the track specifically about her prolonged struggle with rolandic childhood epilepsy. Wees says: “Today I see Control as the best way to leave my past behind and writing this song was the best therapy I could have done to deal with my past.”  “The sickness was stronger than me, and left scars that have become part of my life. Accepting them has taken so much time, but they make me what I am today – a fighter.”
