Although from a different time and place those songs go together like Christmas and giving. Mariah’s track will certainly keep on giving to her, her kids, their kids and probably Mariah’s great grandkids. Written by Carey and Walter Afanasieffthose royalty checks just keep on coming. Three years ago All I Want For Christmas is you was reported to bring in over $60 million in royalties alone since its 1994 release.

IN THE MIX WITH HK™ = HOLIDAY STRESS RELIEF

The holiday season is filled with joy and wonder but… it can sometimes be stressful too. And this year, with life on the Covid coaster, holidays are more complicated on soooo many levels. Don't worry though, cause In The Mix with HK™ is gonna kick that holiday stress to the curb. I mean, we’re here for YOU and the experts have our back. Mayo Clinic says, in their “Tips To Tame Stress”, that “listening to music is a good stress reliever because it provides a mental distraction, reduces muscle tension and decreases stress hormones”. They go as far to say “Crank up the volume and let your mind be absorbed by the music”. Oh yeah …I’m gonna be crankin’ up the volume this weekend with an all-out sonic party jam you just can’t miss!

Look at what I'm putting under the tree for you - Brand new exclusive HK remixes on hits from Justin Bieber, BTS, 24KGoldn, Drake, AJR, Tate McRae, Gabby Barrett and Charlie Puth. I'm also filling my Santa sleigh with merry mashups, classic jams and new beats from Lil Nas X, Miley Cyrus and Dua Lipa. 24KGOLDN TURNING 20 AND #1

Golden Landis Von Jones better known as 24KGoldn has reason to celebrate. On Friday he turns 20 and his track Mood, featuring Iann Dior is the #1 song in the country…again. But Goldn almost didn’t pursue music. As a child he did commercial acting and was in Lunchables, Honda and Blue Diamond Almond commercials. Then Goldn was studying finance and loving campus life at USC . He says “Before I realized I could do music professionally, my whole plan was to become a hedge fund manager. Thank God I didn’t do that.”  We’re all glad Goldn took the singer, rapper, songwriter road.

This weekend I’m takin’ the road to party town with a custom HK remix on 24KGoldn’s #1 track plus hits from Gabby Barrett with Charlie Puth, AJR, Machine Gun Kelly & Blackbear, Sam Smith, Jason Derulo, Why Don’t We, Justin Bieber and Marshmello. Also in the mix are new bangers from Ariana Grande, Harry Styles, Julia Michaels, Icona Pop with Sofi Tukker and so much more! I’m droppin’ the needle on massive mashups, mixin’ in fave throwbacks and turning up the heat on your virtual dancefloor.

Jason Derulo has the #1 song in the country with a little help from BTS. Savage Love (Laxed – Siern Beat), Derulo’s hit collab with Jawsh 685’s been hanging out on the charts for several months. Now it got a little remix love from BTS and it blasted to the top. This marks Jason’s second #1 hit. His first came almost 12 years ago with the debut single Whatcha Say, which, I seriously need to dust off and mess with.

Fellow Korean K-Pop girl group, Blackpink has their own success to celebrate. Their latest track Ice Cream, a collab with Selena Gomez, is number one globally on YouTube and they’re getting a Netflix documentary set to air next month.

GABBY BARRETT & CHARLIE PUTH HAVE HOPE

Gabby Barrett may have come in third on American Idol in 2018 but she is winning with her new track I Hope. The song was already a huge country music hit when Charlie Puth posted on Insta how much he liked the track and the two teamed up for a new version. Gabby explains “When I wrote it I was writing from a woman’s perspective, and so with him being on it, it kind of shows the men’s perspective too. That both sides get cheated on and it’s not  just a one-sided thing.” Puth says “I fell in love with the song when I first heard it, and to be able to reimagine it with Gabby and the writers and producers and take it to a new place, is really exciting.”

Also really exciting…all the new music, mashups, reimagined throwbacks and custom remixes by yours truly that I have ready to spin for you this weekend. The party is on with exclusive HK remixes on hits from Harry Styles, Dua Lipa, Megan Thee Stallion, The Weeknd, Lewis Capaldi, Katy Perry, The Scotts, Lady Gaga with Ariana Grande, AJR, SAINt JHNand So-Much-More! Summer is heating up and so are the airwaves so don’t miss a beat.
