24KGOLDN TURNING 20 AND #1

Golden Landis Von Jones better known as 24KGoldn has reason to celebrate. On Friday he turns 20 and his track Mood, featuring Iann Dior is the #1 song in the country…again. But Goldn almost didn’t pursue music. As a child he did commercial acting and was in Lunchables, Honda and Blue Diamond Almond commercials. Then Goldn was studying finance and loving campus life at USC . He says “Before I realized I could do music professionally, my whole plan was to become a hedge fund manager. Thank God I didn’t do that.”  We’re all glad Goldn took the singer, rapper, songwriter road.

This weekend I’m takin’ the road to party town with a custom HK remix on 24KGoldn’s #1 track plus hits from Gabby Barrett with Charlie Puth, AJR, Machine Gun Kelly & Blackbear, Sam Smith, Jason Derulo, Why Don’t We, Justin Bieber and Marshmello. Also in the mix are new bangers from Ariana Grande, Harry Styles, Julia Michaels, Icona Pop with Sofi Tukker and so much more! I’m droppin’ the needle on massive mashups, mixin’ in fave throwbacks and turning up the heat on your virtual dancefloor.

ZOE WEES IS IN CONTROL

18 year old German singer-songwriter Zoe Wees has a hit with her very first single Control. Although the deeply emotional track is relatable to anyone who’s ever struggled with feelings of not being in control, Zoe penned the track specifically about her prolonged struggle with rolandic childhood epilepsy. Wees says: “Today I see Control as the best way to leave my past behind and writing this song was the best therapy I could have done to deal with my past.”  “The sickness was stronger than me, and left scars that have become part of my life. Accepting them has taken so much time, but they make me what I am today – a fighter.”

The power of music and the human spirt never ceases to amaze me. This weekend I’m packing powerful music to bring the party to your weekend! I’m firing up the decks with custom HK remixes on hits from Selena Gomez & Blackpink, Lady Gaga & Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus, Drake, Dixie D’Amelio, Justin Bieber, Ashe, Gabby Barrett with Charlie Puth, AJR and of course Zoe Wees. I’ll be dropping Part II of my exclusive interview with Ashe. Plus massive mashups, new bangers from Shawn Mendes, Why Don’t We, Jason Derulo, Dua Lipa and so much more! The party don’t start till you tune in!
