DJ's RULE THE WORLD INCLUDING COACHELLA

Music festival season is just around the corner. The world’s highest grossing festival which is also known for being a premier music tastemaker is the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival in Indio, Calif. Last year it set records by grossing over $84 million in ticket sales. 2016 will mark another milestone for the festival as Calvin Harris becomes the first DJ to play Coachella as a premier headliner. Back in 2014 Harris made his Coachella debut and had one of the biggest crowds in the festival’s history. This year as a top billed act and with all his recent hits, Calvin’s numbers are certain to rise.

I'm raising the roof and volume this weekend when I drop the needle on exclusive HK remixes on…Demi Lovato, Tori Kelly, The Chainsmokers and Flo Rida. There's even more sonic exclusivity when I hit your inner ear with my reworkings of Adele, Twenty One Pilots, Shawn Mendes and others. Plus brand new joints from David Guetta & Sia, Justin Timberlake, Coldplay and JoJo.

Remember…if it's hot, if it's new and it makes you wanna move…you're In The Mix with HK™.

MUSIC PREDICTIONS FOR 2016

New Year, new beginnings, new expectations and as always this time of year… predictions for what may come. Here are a few of my faves. Rolling Stone says, Rihanna will sell out stadiums with her 2016 tour and her loooong-awaited Anti  album will actually be released. They feel the use of Holograms in concerts will go bust but EDM is here to stay. Forbes says,  Taylor Swift will double her past years earnings. With Taylor grossing about $4 million a show, expect her to hit South America and more of Europe for earnings close to $200 million. Other predictions suggest Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez will get back together… at least for a collab. and Kanye will fiiiiiiiinally release his new album. One thing I can predict for sure is this week’s show is off…the…hook!

Its New Year’s weekend and that means it’s a serious P-A-R-T-Y! I’m gonna be slaying the decks with exclusive HK remixes on Elle King, Jason Derulo, Flo Rida, Adele and The Weekend! I’ll also be bending soundwaves at the beginning of 2016 on Halsey, Selena, Charlie Puth and DNCE! You’re gonna want to amp the volume way up for hot new tracks from Florence & The Machine, One Direction and the Biebs! It’s all happening right here this weekend!

ED SHEERAN AND LADY GAGA ARE GREAT GIFT GIVERS AND GETTERS!

I try to get creative with my gift giving but Ed Sheeran and Lady Gaga have me beat. Ed bought his folks a million-dollar flat right across the street from his home. Plus a new car. Well every house needs a car right? These wonderful presents do come with a caveat though - Ed’s parents will have to do some babysitting should the need arise in the future. Not to be out done Lady Gaga’s record label sent what Gaga describes as “a White Angel from heaven”. Interscope delivered a gorgeous white pony right to her door. Gaga wrote on Twitter “I will ride, and care for, and love her forever. I was so surprised!” Well yeah!!!

I have some stellar gifts for your inner ear! It’s a Christmas weekend party packed with killer jams and exclusive HK remixes on Ellie Goulding, Adele, Shawn Mendes, Drake, Elle King, Andy Grammer and One Direction. Then just when you think your speakers are going to blow…I’m droppin’ the needle on new tracks from Fall Out Boy, DNCE, Ariana Grande, Jess Glynne and so much more!

Remember…if it's hot, if it's new and it makes you wanna move…you're In The Mix with HK™.
