SHINEDOWN GETS AN HK REMIX

Hard Rock group Shinedown have a monster POP hit on their hands. A Symptom Of Being Human is becoming quite the earworm on pop radio. Has the group out grown their normally in your face sound for a softer one, or is this simply a musical fluke? Either way its a fantastic song that we broke In The Mix With HK™ and this week it gets a shiny new HK remix!

Along with that is plenty of bouncing beats from Meghan Trainor & T-Pain, Beyonce, Justin Timberlake, Jelly Roll and MORE. So set your weekend off right.

Remember…if it's hot, if it's new and it makes you wanna move…you're In The Mix with HK™.

BEYONCE GETS AN HK REMIX

This was the week that Beyonce dropped Cowboy Carter, her 8th Studio album. Upon first look at the cover art, I thought I was having Deja-Vu. Queen B is once again on top of a steed. Seriously? Doesn’t one of the wealthiest and most powerful women on earth have more props in her photo closet? But I digress. Let’s talk music.

This week I feature a brand new HK Remix on Texas Hold ‘Em. Along with exclusive HK Remixes on Justin Timberlake, Noah Kahan, Jack Harlow, Teddy Swims, Benson Boone, Renee Rapp and MORE! It’s gonna be a serious party and you are invited. You’ll also hear some of your old favorites like you’ve never heard them before.

VICTORIA MONET IS KILLING IT!

On the heels of winning a Best New Artist Grammy, and two others (that’s 3 Grammy Awards in one night), Victoria Monet continues to make noise on radio, the charts and everywhere else. A little noise in her life that she could do without, came from her young daughter on the Grammy red carpet. Victoria says she will not be bringing her daughter to another red carpet event for a few years. In the meantime, her daughter can still be seen with her in the studio while working on new music.

I’m in the studio working on tons of new music for this week’s show. Get ready for new EXCLUSIVE HK remixes on Teddy Swims, Justin Timberlake, Dua Lipa, Beyonce, Doja Cat & MORE! I’ve got Hit after Hit, back to back and beat to beat. There’s also gonna be some amazing surprises!

THIS WEEK ON IN THE MIX WITH HK™

The calendar says Spring is still three weeks away, but the warm temps outside, along with hot new music inside, is giving me all the feels. Spring has always been synonymous with rebirth and creativity, and the music industry seems to be on the same wavelength. Artists across genres release tracks that feel like they're made for sunny days and breezy evenings, their rhythms and melodies perfectly capturing the essence of renewal and hope that defines spring. This surge of musical creativity adds an exciting layer to the season's anticipation. From upbeat pop anthems that make you want to dance in the sunshine to mellow tunes that are perfect for a relaxed afternoon in the park, the variety of new music acts as a soundtrack for the transition. It's as if the world is waking up from its winter slumber, and the notes and chords are a universal language of joy and anticipation.

This week I’m unpacking new jams from Dua Lipa, Ice Spice, Fletcher, and Boys Like Girls. Plus current newbies from The Weeknd, Thirty Seconds To Mars, Renee Rapp, Justin Timberlake and others. Along this musical journey I’ve got some super cool surprises and I might even have to revisit some old favorites.

Remember…if it's hot, if it's new and it makes you wanna move…you're In The Mix with HK™.

BENSON BOONE - BEAUTIFUL THINGS

Shortly after Benson Boone scored his first Top 10 hit on the Billboard Hot 100, with Beautiful Things, the song earned the top spot as the most added song at radio. You may remember Benson from Season 19 of American Idol. He dropped out of the show with no explanation, leaving everyone wondering. Then not long after he signed to Imagine Dragons frontman Dan Reynolds record label Night Street Records. Reynolds became his mentor after he left American Idol.

This week I’ve got this beautiful song, along with a bevy of new jams. Plus hot new music from Justin Timberlake, Lil Nas X, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Jelly Roll and MORE. NON-STOP HITS from Doja Cat, Taylor Swift, Tyla, Thirty Seconds To Mars, and Victoria Monet. It’s all going down this weekend.

Remember…if it's hot, if it's new and it makes you wanna move…you're In The Mix with HK™.

JUNG KOOK AND JACK HARLOW GET THAT “3D” SOUND

Jung Kook continues to crush the global charts! He originally took the world by storm as a member of BTS. Then he went solo with a perfectly choreographed release schedule of singles and collabs. His current HIT single “3D” with Jack Harlow is a catchy ear worm. It is it just me, or does he not sound exactly like a young Justin Timberlake on this track?

And speaking of JT…I”ve got both of his new ones. Back with the boys and Timbaland and Furtado. Plus new jams from Ice Spice & Rema, Morgan Wallen, Tate McRae, and Olivia Rodrigo. It’s gonna be an all out party with non-stop HITS, Throwbacks and New Jams!

Remember…if it's hot, if it's new and it makes you wanna move…you're In The Mix with HK™.

SELENA GOMEZ SAYS SHE’LL BE SINGLE SOON

Fresh on the heels of her mega global hit with Rema, Selena drops “Single Soon. This could be Hugh Jackman’s new theme song. After 27yrs of marriage, he and his wife are going their separate ways. But that’s another story. Back to Selena. I’m sure were all wondering who the song is about. The Biebs? The Weeknd? Who knows. What I do know is you’ll hear an EXCLUSIVE HK remix this weekend. Along with slammin’ new tracks from Noah Kahan, Bakkar, Timbaland/Furtado & Timberlake. That’s right!!! And many MORE! Plus all your fave hits like you’ve never heard them before. Hit after hit. GLADES ARE AN HK PICK TO HIT™

Glades are the hottest new trio out of Australia! With their atmospheric synthscapes, reverb-laden guitars and complex electro pop beats they’re a group to watch and a HK Pick To Hit™. Their current single “Do Right” is certified Gold with over 50 million streams and this week Cam, Joey and Karina, of Glade’s, are calling into the show to talk about how they met, how they make music and when their debut album is dropping.

WHO IS BAZZI

The 20 year old Michigan native, Bazzi has a certified Platinum hit with his breakthrough single Mine. He started in the biz by posting songs on YouTube then moved to LA to pursue his music career and…oh yeah…finish high school. Bazzi’s talents don’t stop at singing and songwriting though, he says “I’ve been playing guitar since I was 6, and then drums, bass and piano since I was 10 years old.” His debut album Cosmic  just dropped and he plays instruments on all of the albums 16 tracks. Of his smash Mine, Bazzi says the melody for his slinky, love-struck confessional suddenly popped into his head while hanging out with some friends at a pool party and he went to the studio two days later to record it. Apparently I need to spend more time at the pool.

This weekend I’m gonna make Mine, mine with an exclusive HK remix on Bazzi’s hit. I can’t wait to drop the needle on other custom remixes on Zedd featuring Maren Morris and Grey, Bebe Rexha, Zayn, Meghan Trainor, Calvin Harris, Justin Timberlake, Bruno Mars & Cardi B. Plus new bangers from Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, bülow and so much more! Call the crew and grab the munchies! It’s a party!

Remember…if it's hot, if it's new and it makes you wanna move…you're In The Mix with HK™.

AJR GETS IN THE MIX WITH HK™

AJR dropped a new banger, Sober Up, and it’s already catapulted to No. 1 on the Alternative Chart and is climbing its way up the Pop Chart. This weekend I talk with the super talented AJR brothers about their new track, tour and more. Also on tap are exclusive HK remixes on Taylor Swift, Imagine Dragons, Charlie Puth featuring Kehlani, Ed Sheeran, Drake, Lauv, Justin Timberlake, Arlissa featuring Jonas Blue and of course AJR. I’ve got your “turn up the volume and turn on the party” soundtrack all cued up!

Remember…if it's hot, if it's new and it makes you wanna move…you're In The Mix with HK™.

BRUNO MARS & CARDI B...KILLING IT!!!

Bruno Mars took home 7 Grammys earlier this year and Cardi B was nominated for 2 of those little record players. The love just keeps coming for this musical wizard and sometimes controversial rapper. Their smash hit, Finesse has topped the Pop Songs chart, giving Mars his ninth #1 while setting a new record for most number-ones on that chart by a male solo artist. Finesse has also added another platinum project to Bruno and Cardi B’s collection as it was just certified not 1 but 2x Platinum! I don’t know how their celebrating but I’m pretty sure Cardi B will be popping another cork next week when she drops her debut album Invasion Of Privacy.

This weekend I’m dropping an exclusive HK killer remix of Bruno and Cardi’s hit and popping custom HK remixes on chart toppers from Maroon 5, Meghan Trainor, Justin Timberlake, Dua Lipa, Demi Lovato, Bazzi, Bebe Rexha & FGL. Plus knock your speakers off the wall mashups on Ed Sheeran and Usher. I’m pulling out a classic banger and hitting new beats from Kent Jones, Foster The People, Arlissa featuring Jonas Blue, Five Seconds of Summer, and so–much–more! Put your party pants on!

Remember…if it's hot, if it's new and it makes you wanna move…you're In The Mix with HK™ .

THIS WEEK ON IN THE MIX WITH HK™

It’s St. Patrick’s day weekend and the last weekend of winter and if those aren’t two great reasons to party I don’t know what is. As Max says “Turn The Lights Down Low” and as I say “get ready to turn the volume way up”! I’ve been in the lab working on bangin’ new HK remixes of Max featuring Gnash, Camila Cabello, Khalid, P!nk, Justin Timberlake, Macklemore, Dua Lipa, Maroon 5 and so much more. Plus new tracks that are screamin’ to be heard, from Meghan Trainor, Bazzi, Logic and Janelle Monae. Fasten your seatbelts cause these tracks are traveling at the speed of sound!

SUPER BOWL - SUPER MUSIC ON IN THE MIX WITH HK™

We all love the game but don’t underestimate the entertainment for heating up the field! First, there’s the singing of the National Anthem. Three-time Grammy winner P!nk will do the honors this year. Of course P!nk’s just getting the party started. The halftime show is the main musical event. A no holds barred extravaganza, not to mention a virtual album seller as well as pressure cooker for the artists invited to the party. Perform for one of the world’s biggest audiences for twelve minutes, all the while trying to make a killer definitive statement…no worries right? Who doesn’t love watching this stuff plus you never know if there will be another wardrobe malfunction! This year Justin Timberlake will take the mid-field stage with about 115 million of us watching and ready to jam out! Oh yeah and there’s a football game too! You gotta love Super Bowl Sunday!

I’ll give you another reason to love Super Bowl weekend. I’ve got possession of the perfect soundtrack to kick things off! It’s gonna be a party blitz with exclusive HK remixes on Dua Lipa, N.E.R.D. & Rihanna, P!nk, G-Eazy & Halsey, Macklemore, Max, Selena Gomez and so much more! I’ll be punting new beats from Kesha featuring Dap-Kings and of course Zedd featuring Maren Morris and Grey. You never know how the big game will turn out but I know we’re gonna be turnin’ it out this weekend.

Remember…if it's hot, if it's new and it makes you wanna move…you're In The Mix with HK™.

G-EAZY AND HALSEY MAKE BEAUTIFUL MUSIC TOGETHER

Is Halsey really Bad At Love?  From the looks of her thang with G-Eazy - she’s now good at love and good at writing love songs too. Halsey & G- Eazy wrote Him & I together about their real life romance and it’s now heating up the charts along with their dressing rooms and bedroom. Watch out Jay Z and Beyoncé. There’s a new “it” couple in the music industry!

I’ve got just what you need to heat up your winter weekend! A crateful of new jams and HK remixes on both Halsey’s track and her duet with G-Eazy. And I CAN NOT WAIT to play with bangers from Dua Lipa, Sam Smith, Clean Bandit, Walk The Moon, Selena Gomez & Marshmello. Plus new tracks from Maroon 5, Lost Kings, P!nk, Justin Timberlake and so much more! Rest up cause it’s gonna be a weekend full of eargasams!

Remember…if it's hot, if it's new and it makes you wanna move…you're In The Mix with HK™.

JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE GETS FILTHY

Timberlake’s been a media magnet since he released Filthy, the first single off his upcoming album, Man of the Woods that’s set to drop on Feb. 2^nd. Filthy already has a #1 fan- according to his superstar parents, Silas, Justin’s two year old son, is said to sing the lyrics to himself in the mirror. Timberlake’s last album was out in 2013 so there’s a lot of hype, anticipation and speculation going around. One of Timberlake’s producers, Danja says to expect country, blues and soul from his latest endeavor. Whatever the album holds Justin’s upcoming tour has some extravagant VIP packages. One is offering a “Stage Bar” experience where ticket holders will watch the show from their very own bar stool right up against the stage. It also comes with an adult beverage drink ticket! Now that’s my kinda concert goin’!

So grab a beverage and get ready cause it’s a PARTY! This weekend’s In The Mix with HK™ is on FIRE with exclusive HK remixes on Eminem, Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, Niall Horan, Charlie Puth and Beyoncé! Plus new beats from P!nk, Bruno Mars & Cardi B, N.E.R.D & Rihanna, Camila Cabello of course J.T. and so much more!

Remember…if it's hot, if it's new and it makes you wanna move…you're In The Mix with HK™ .

NEW YEAR NEW ALBUMS

It’s a new year, all fresh and promising and that is exactly what I’m anticipating for the 2018 album drop! Artists like Liam Payne, Alessia Cara, Daya, Frank Ocean, Selena Gomez, Nicki Minaj and Cardi B have dangled the possibility of new albums in the new year. Heck even a joint album between royal couple Jay-Z and Beyoncé (lot of potential going on there) has been round the rumor mill. But let’s talk about the solid – Camila Cabello debut solo album Camila dropping January 12th, Charlie Puth’s Voicenotes arrives January 26^th and Justin Timberlake’s Man Of The Woods (an apparent departure from his last album) is out on February 2^nd.

I predict a year of killer jams! But why wait! I have a show packed with killer jams and exclusive HK remixes on Post Malone, Bebe Rexha, G-Eazy & Halsey, Demi Lovato, Macklemore and SO MUCH MORE! Don’t miss a single beat.

Remember…if it's hot, if it's new and it makes you wanna move…you're In The Mix with HK™ .

IF DJing WAS AN OLYMPIC EVENT...

If DJing was an Olympic event Calvin Harris would bring home the gold….again! According to Forbes he tops the list as highest–paid DJ in the world for the fourth year in a row. Raking in an impressive $63 million before taxes in the last year. Getting paid $400,000 per Vegas gig is a big chunk of Calvin’s income. With song writing credits, additional appearances and advertising revenue supplementing his fortune. Tiesto brings in the silver with a little more than half of Harris’s profits. He’s kept busy with 100 gigs over the year and a sweet 7-Up deal. The bronze goes to David Guetta with a mere $28 million in earnings aided by his Vegas Wynn residency. All of this proving a serious need for a career review with my manager.

I’ll be reviewing, reworking and remixing hit tracks by Calvin Harris featuring Rihanna, Pink, Justin Timberlake, Fifth Harmony, The Chainsmokers, Hailee Steinfeld and so much more! Plus new music and a couple throwbacks you won’t see comin’! I’ve got an In the Mix with HK™ party of Olympic proportions coming your way! So light the torch, turn up the volume, set a reminder and call the crew!

Remember…if it's hot, if it's new and it makes you wanna move…you're In The Mix with HK™.

KATY PERRY RISES THIS WEEK ON IN THE MIX WITH HK™

Katy Perry recently released Rise, it’s her first new single in two years and she also wrote it! Here’s what the Grammy nominee said in a statement about her latest track – “This is a song that’s been brewing inside me for years, that has finally come to the surface. I was inspired to finish it now, rather than save it for my next album, because now more than ever, there is a need for our world to unite.  I know that together we can rise above the fear – in our country, and around the world. I can’t think of a better example than the Olympic athletes, as they gather together in Rio with their strength and fearlessness, to remind us how we ALL can come together, with the resolve to be the best we can be. I hope this song can inspire us to heal, unite, and rise together. I am honored that NBC Olympics has chosen to use it as an anthem before and during the Rio Games.”

This week on In The Mix with HK™ I’ll put my spin on Katy’s latest tune and also hit you up with new jams from Britney Spears and Demi Lovato! Your speakers will be thumpin’ with exclusive HK remixes on Justin Timberlake, Ariana Grande, OneRebublic, Sia, Drake, Meghan Trainor, Twenty One Pilots and so much more!!

Remember…if it's hot, if it's new and it makes you wanna move…you're In The Mix with HK™.

JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE BACK TO THE BIG SCREEN AND IN THE MIX WITH HK™

Justin Timberlake is set to join the cast of Kate Winslet and Jim Belushi for Woody Allen’s next flick. The film will be the first collab. between JT and director Allen. Shooting for the movie will begin in New York this Fall. In typical Allen fashion, the plot details and film’s title are being kept under wraps. What’s not under wraps is the custom remix of JT’s Can’t Stop The Feeling that I have just for you! It will be unleashed on this week’s In The Mix with HK™ along with exclusive remixes on Meghan Trainor, Zayn, Nick Jonas, Sia, Fifth Harmony, Twenty One Pilots and so much more! Plus new bangers from John Legend, Tiesto, David Guetta and that left of center, elusive new pop sensation Kiiara! It’s a summer party soundtrack you don’t wanna miss!

Remember…if it's hot, if it's new and it makes you wanna move…you're In The Mix with HK™.

FOURTH OF JULY WEEKEND HK STYLE!

John Adams wrote that Independence Day … ought to be celebrated by pomp and parade, with shows, games, sports, bells, bonfires and illuminations from one end of this continent to the other from this time forward and forever more. If President Adams were alive today I believe he would have added…and by jamming out to In The Mix with HK™ for a non-stop musical extravaganza in all American HK style! That’s right, John Adams would be getting his patriotic groove on this weekend.

In honor of our Nation’s Birthday Bash I have put together custom HK mixes and remixes on all your favorite hits.
