KE$HA AND MIKE POSNER GET CRAZY!

Ke$ha is currently on tour promoting her second studio album Warrior and with all the hits this crazy kid has put out you know I needed to check it out. All the open sexuality and craziness that follows Ke$ha everywhere was certainly present on stage along with a full band, dancers and the perfect blend of sonic and visual mayhem. Oh, and let's not forget a sold out crowd adorned with glitter, face paint and head bands. Imagine the 60's hippie movement colliding with the pop EDM world and that's what you get at a Ke$ha show. Mike Posner opened up for her and primed the crowd with his own hits - "Cooler Than Me", "Bow Chicka Wow Wow", "Please Don't Go" and the monster Justin Bieber hit "Boyfriend". For those who don't know, Mike wrote that monster hit for Justin! This was without a doubt the best show I've seen in this size venue. I went expecting a more scaled down version of the tour but that was not the case. Even before walking in I saw four tour buses and three semi's and thought…this is gonna be crazy!

That craziness and sonic mayhem continues this weekend In The Mix with HK. With Labor Day Weekend around the corner and State Fairs popping up like weeds, the pressure was on to lock myself in the lab and crank out a bevy of new eargasms for my listeners. You better fasten your seat belts cause I've got the brand new Katy Perry - "Roar", a hot extended remix on Lady Gaga's - "Applause", and a new spin on Avicci's country EDM smoker that's guaranteed to "Wake Me Up". One Direction's Movie is about to open and I've opened up their current single "Best Song Ever". The party wouldn't be complete without new joints from Robin Thicke, Justin Timberlake, Paramore, Tegan & Sara, Emblem 3 and Capital Cities. So no matter where you are this weekend, pump up the volume and get In The Mix with HK.

Remember…if it's hot, if it's new and it makes you wanna move…you're In The Mix with HK™.

BEST SONG EVER!

On July 22 One Direction is releasing a new single entitled "Best Song Ever" which made me think I was having deja vu. Then I realized, no - wait a minute. In the past year there's been "F**king Best Song Ever" by Wallpaper, then "Best Song Ever" by The Ready Set and now One Direction. And that's just off the top of my head. Apparently many artists and songwriters feel they've just written the best song ever. Well, only time and audience response will tell, but in the meantime you should know I'm working on the best show ever!

This weekend on In The Mix with HK™ I'll be showcasing brand new mixes on Ke$ha - "Crazy Kids", Macklemore & Ryan Lewis - "Same Love", Florida-Georgia Line - "Cruise", Imagine Dragons - "Radioactive" and Pink - "Just Give Me A Reason". I've also put the HK sonic glaze on Capital Cities, Zedd, Fall Out Boy, Ariana Grande, Daft Punk, Demi Lovato and more. There's also brand new music from Karmin, Embelm3, and Timeflies. So don't miss one beat of this nonstop dance party. Tune in this weekend to hear all your favorite hits re-imagined and remixed together into commercial free music sets!
